Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance

Coverage is for medical expenses abroad for sudden illness or accidental injury, including hospitalization, prescription drugs, and inpatient physical therapy. It also includes your medical transportation and repatriation, plus the expenses of someone to accompany you or your children home when you are seriously ill or injured.

Emergency dental expenses abroad
Coverage is for emergency dental treatment abroad to relieve acute and sudden pain.
Extended lodging expenses due to illness or medical quarantine
Refund of accommodation costs due to medical quarantine, prescribed by a doctor after visiting the insured.
Outpatient physiotherapy treatment
Physiotherapy expenses arising from an illness, accident, or injury taking place abroad during the trip and covered under this policy.
Travel expenses for a family member
If you are hospitalized for longer than 7 days, a return ticket will be provided for a family member of your choosing to accompany you.
Lodging expenses for a family member
If you are hospitalized for longer than 7 days, lodging expenses for a family member of your choosing will be covered so that they may accompany you.

Transport or medical repatriation of injured and ill persons
Transportation of the insured to the place of residence or to the nearest clinic/hospital.
Transport or repatriation of companions
Transportation of the insured companions to return them to their places of residence or to the place where the transferred or repatriated insured is hospitalised.
Transport or repatriation of the deceased
Transportation of the insured person's remains to their home country, as well as their insured companions.

Coverage is for loss or damage to the insured’s luggage or personal effects in the event of theft, the total or partial loss attributable to the carrier, or damages as a result of fire or aggression that occurs during the journey.

Delay in delivery of luggage
Reimbursement is for the purchase of necessary personal effects if your checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by the carrier.
Administrative expenses for loss/theft of official documentation
Reimbursement of expenses incurred to replace passport or visa in the event of los or theft.

Trip cancellation - Up to $7,000 USD
Provides reimbursement of your pre-paid, non-refundable expenses should you need to cancel your trip due to one of the covered reasons. For this coverage to be valid it must be purchased no longer than 7 days after having made the first trip booking.
Early return
If you must interrupt your trip due to the hospitalization or death of a family member in your country of residence, the additional return expenses Will be covered.
Trip resumption
Coverage is for the cost of resuming your trip if you are repatriated to your home country due to illness or accident.

Travel delay due to transport
Reimbursement of the cost of accommodation, meals, and refreshments due to public transport delays if you arrive later than planned at your destination.
Missed connecting flight
Reimbursement for the basic expenses required (including the purchase of a ticket for an alternative flight if needed), if the traveler misses a connecting flight already confirmed at the transfer point due to the late arrival of the incoming flight.

Coverage for your electronic equipment (laptop, tablet, camera, and the likes, and its accessories) is up to 50% of the baggage coverage in case of theft, as well as for total or partial loss due to the carrier, or damage as a result of fire or assault. Additionally, you can extend this limit up to 100% of the baggage coverage.

With the Adventure sports add-on, the coverage will also apply to the following activities:

White-water rafting, airsofting, canyoning, diving, and underwater activities less than 20 meters deep, bouldering up to a height of 8 meters , horse riding, climbing, fencing, caving at depths of less than 150 meters , water skiing, fly surfing, hydrobob, hydrospeed, kitesurfing, bicycle touring, mountain bike rides, deep-water soloing up to a height of 8 meters, quad biking, rafting, abseiling, bungee jumping, survival, trekking at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters and any activity of similar characteristics.

Our Heymondo multi-trip policy has an excess of $250 USD for medical expenses coverage only. This means that claims will be covered up to the limit mentioned in the policy, minus the excess amount.
